En la película llamada “Antes de Partir” hay una escena memorable en la cual los dos ancianos, protagonistas principales del film (interpretados por Morgan Freeman y Jack Nicholson), dialogan sobre la pirámide de Keops
Sobre esa estructura milenaria ellos están en la etapa de ver cumplida su lista de deseos antes de morir
El personaje interpretado por Morgan Freeman le dice al otro, un multimillonario, interpretado por Jack Nicholson:
“Los Egipcios tienen una leyenda de la vida más allá para el Alma y es la siguiente:
Cuando el alma llega a las puertas del cielo le reciben los dioses que determinarán si será aceptado o no en el cielo
“Le formulan dos preguntas, de cuyas respuestas dependerá su aceptación o no:
“La primera es:
“¿Fuiste feliz en la vida y alcanzaste tu realización personal?…
“Cuando el alma responde esa pregunta le formulan la segunda pregunta que es decisiva:
”¿Cuánto contribuiste a la felicidad de los demás?”
